The Epperson Gallery is proud to once again host the mixed medium Plein Air Paint Out held in the Valona District in Crockett. Scenic Crockett has been a favorite of painters for decades. The Valona District covers a wide range of options from open space, to river views, bridges, C&H Sugar factory, rustic marina, hillside vistas and quaint neighborhoods. It is a great place to paint and a fun event. Once again the event will be judged by Sarah Beserra, publisher of The Plein Air Scene.

When: Saturday October 25th through Sunday, November 2nd

Artist may paint from October 25th thru Noon on Sunday November 2nd

Schedule:

Check-In – canvas stamping, Oct 25thth thru Nov. 2nd 8:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.

Drop-Off – finished work as they are completed 4-6pm each evening , Sunday by 12:00

Judging – Sunday, Nov.2 3pm-4pm

Sale – Saturday Nov 1st & Sunday Nov2nd

Reception – Sunday, Nov2nd 4pm-7pm

Rules:

All activities will be at the Epperson Gallery, 1400 Pomona St., Crockett CA 94525

Space permitting, artists can hang up to 3 painting. All paintings submitted must be for sale.

Artist will set the price.

The Gallery will take a 40% Commission on all sales.

Preferred size 12 x 16 (watercolor paper 18 x 24).

Paintings must be wired and ready to hang. Unframed watercolors will be pinned.

By participation in the event, artists agree that their names and images can be used to promote future events.

Unsold work must be picked up at the end of the sale on Sunday.

Liability: The Gallery will not be responsible for loss or damage to artwork regardless of the cause. By participation in the event each artist will be deemed to have agreed to this stipulation. Artists may wish to provide their own insurance coverage.
