My first experience in ceramics was working as an apprentice for an artist who had a studio in an old Santa Fe train depot in Visalia Ca. In 1969 I would move to Marin County, California to study ceramics at the College of Marin. In the early 70’s I would move to The Netherlands to get away from the politics of the period. It wasn’t until 1988 before I got back into ceramics. I built a house in Crockett Ca. with a studio and a small gas kiln. In 2001 I purchased a large commercial building with plans to have a retail space for my ceramics.
