Here's an exciting update about the Valona Plein Air Paint-Out and exhibit hosted by the Epperson Gallery in Crockett: Gallery owner Gerald Epperson says there is still room for artists to participate in the event, with no pre-jurying required. If you'd like to participate you can sign up and pay your $50 entry fee at the same time you come to the gallery to get your surfaces stamped.
Participants are also invited to bring up to 3 framed plein air paintings they've already created (i.e. not created during this event) at the same time they come in for sign-in/stamping, and those paintings will be hung right away in the gallery as an exhibit preview.
